| You will
be surprised to know... |
...that when you give advice to
someone or when you're upset by someone's behaviour,
you are presented with a great opportunity to get
to know yourself!
In fact, when you give advice to someone
who didn't ask for it, you're actually giving it to
yourself. You don't know it, but the advice you are
offering is most needed by YOU. For example, if you
advise someone to save his money and be more careful
with his spending, it's you, in
reality, that needs this
counsel.
If, on the other hand,
you're disturbed or upset by the way a person manages
his money and you find that person unreasonable, that
helps you see that you don't accept the part of you that
is unreasonable (or wants to be!). That usually implies
that you bear a grudge against one of your parents
(usually the parent of the same sex as you) for
mismanaging his or her money.
When you discover that you don't
accept a part of you, which also means that you don't
accept the opposite part of you. In the example above,
that would mean that you don't accept being unreasonable
with money and you also don't accept being reasonable.
You can't be at peace in either situation.
You'll know that you accept your
attitude towards money when you are comfortable with
being one or the other.
I suggest you read this article
again, but with a personal example. Have fun with
it!

What's hiding behind your salty
habits? |
The majority of
people's salt intake is twenty times the quantity of
salt (sodium) that the body needs. I noticed that many
people add salt to their food even before tasting it.
That's a habit that can be costly to your health because
it affects certain functions of the body
(water retention, kidney functions, etc).
At a metaphysical level,
people who taste their food with the express intention
of adding salt are usually
perfectionists.
They find that the person that
prepared the meal did not do it perfectly (still
according to their
standard of
perfectionism). They are the same in their
life; they like everything to be perfect and intervene
when something isn't perfect. They are often idealistic
and unrealistic in their expectations towards others and
themselves. This is one of the behaviours of one
who suffers from the injustice wound.

Testimonial
|
|
I just finished Phase 1 of the
training. I can't tell you how much the nine workshops
taught me about myself and helped me have a different
vision of the person that I now see every day (me). I
now live and I savour every second of my life. I feel
peace and harmony in me. I still have fears, but I now
know how they work and what to do with
them.
Being a rigid person, the
"Discover and trust your inner feelings" workshop was
the most wonderful discovery. To be in contact with what
we really feel inside helps us to know are real needs.
That the only way we can do what's necessary to create
the life we want.
The self-confidence I gained helped me
have a very enriching conversation with my mother. I'm 42 years old
and I never had such a discussion with my mother. It was
long overdue. During the conversation, I felt compassion
that I never believed possible (another discovery). I am
also capable of listening my body and resolving all my
aches and pains.
I want to thank all the other students
that showed an extraordinary determination. With their
life experience and their willingness to share, I was
able to become aware of a number of fears and beliefs
that allowed me to discover myself workshop after
workshop.
Finally a warm thank you to Lise to have
created such a school that I recommend to all without
exception. Thank you to the whole Listen your Body team.
A team and school in constant evolution.
